Our Story

Cowboy Junction Church began in 1996 meeting once a month at the Lovington Auction BarnLovington Auction Barn.  The vision behind Cowboy Junction was to provide a place for people to meet and come to know Jesus in a comfortable, western atmosphere. In 1998 Ty Bean came to Lea County as our pastor and we began meeting weekly. Services were held on Monday nights because Sunday morning is another workday for ranchers, and the rodeo cowboys were also traveling on the weekends. In June of 2003 we moved our services to the current location.Cowboy Junction Church We remodeled the metal building and constructed an old west town for Junction City Kids' Church. In September of 2007, we added our Sunday morning service. A whole new group of people began to call Cowboy Junction Church their home. We will always be proud of our western heritage, yet Cowboy Junction is for EVERYONE!

You do not have to be a cowboy to attend...boots and hats are optional!
