Sunday-9am & 10:30am and Monday-6:30pm
When you drive onto the grounds of Cowboy Junction you will notice the old west town. This is where our handicap accessible bathrooms are located, along with Senior Pastor Ty Bean and Youth Pastor Cigi Hardin's offices. Directly in front of the old west town you will find the visitors' parking. Feel free to take advantage of the front row spaces! To the north of this is our main sanctuary located in the metal building. Our entrance doors are located on both the north and south side. The first contact you will make is with one of our friendly CJ ushers. To the east of the sanctuary are two building in which the children have kid's church and the nursery. Our nursery is available prior to service. If you have a child between the grades of kindergarten through 6th, please have them join you in the sanctuary for our worship service. They will be dismissed immediately following announcements. Our 7th through 12th grades are meeting on Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church in the main sanctuary. They remain in our main service on Sunday mornings and Monday nights. During worship feel free to sit or stand. Our desire is that you feel comfortable. Pastor Ty will bring an exciting and relevant message that will touch your heart and your senses. Immediately following service please stick around to meet our staff. We would love to get to know you and your family. On Sunday feel free to join us for our potluck lunch immediately following service. We love to eat, fellowship, and watch a good football game!
We are located on the Hobbs/Lovington Highway one mile north of Alabama Street at 9924 Catchings Drive on the east side of the road. Watch for our sign!
As soon as you walk in the door you will be handed a bulletin, also known as, "Saddle Bag News." Please find a seat that is most comfortable for you and your family. Feel free to walk around and visit our information table. There is coffee made before each service so come in and make yourself at home!
What do you have for kids and teens?
For children two years old and under, we provide a nursery. It is located through the green door in the second building. For preschool age children three to five years old, we have children's church which is located through the red door in the first building. Both of these ministries are available when you arrive, so you may go ahead and drop your child off before coming into church.
For children six years old to twelve years old (or through 6th grade), we have kids' church classrooms that will be open prior to the service as well. This group will meet through the yellow door in the first building.
For teens thirteen (or 7th grade) to eighteen years old, we have Crossroads Youth Group. It is held Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the church in the main sanctuary.
CJC is a relaxed atmoshphere where you can come as you are. Our cement floors allow for easy clean-up. Both services have a variety of dress attire. We see anything from T-shirts and jeans to sports coats and dresses. Everyone fits in at CJC...Hats and boots are optional!
According to 1 Corinthians, we are the body of Christ and it takes all parts to do what God has called us to. Everyone fits in at CJC, and everyone is needed. If you are interested in serving in an existing ministry, please contact the leader of that department. This information may be found on this website under the ministries tab or at the information table in the back of the sanctuary. If you see a need for a new ministry at CJC, please contact Pastor Ty or Heather to share your ideas. Together we can make a difference!
What denomination is Cowboy Junction Church?
Cowboy Junction Church is a non-denominational church. We have a friendship and a covering with Cowboy Junction Church, our sister church, in Vinita, Oklahoma.
At Cowboy Junction we do not take a formal membership. Quoting Pastor Ty, "If your rear hits the seat twice and you consider us home, then consider yourself a member."
