Being a brand new Christian school, we have many needs! We are in a constant state of fundraising! We are always collecting Box Tops and Campbells' Soup Can labels. This year we plan to have two fundraisers at Applebees giving each class a chance to serve at Applebees. In November, once again, we will have a raffle for a $500 Wal Mart gift certificate, and in April we plan to raffle ribeye steaks from Kendall's Meat Market.
Right now, our biggest fundraiser is our live and silent auction held each year on the second Saturday in June. This year Cowboy Junction will host the fundraiser on Saturday, June 9th at 6:30. We hope to auction paintings, an elk cow tag with a guided hunt, a fishing trip to Del Rio and many other items including assorted theme baskets. These baskets will include "Off to College", "4th of July", "Family Fun Night", "Backyard Summer Fun", and many more! There will also jewelry, quilts, tools, etc. Each class will contribute a project made by the students in their class to be auctioned. The JCA kiddos will be selling freshly squeezed lemonade! It will be a great family night filled with excitement!
Junction Christian Academy is a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization. We are actively searching for individuals, business owners, or corporations that would catch the vision to help us provide Lea County students an opportunity for a strong academic education approached from a Biblical perspective where students will be challenged to grow in spiritual, academic, and personal maturity. The teacher student ratio will be held at a level where every pupil receives personal attention.
We want to follow His guidance along with His wisdom every step of the way. Therefore, we covet your prayers for JCA! Together we can grow up children who can become world changers!
