Jolene Bradey--

Jolene Bradey grew up in a "musically inclined" family. Meaning? "We had to drive an hour to church on Sundays, so to keep us from fighting in the back seat, my Mom and Dad would start singing. We could never resist, so we would join in, harmonizing right along with them." At the age of three, Jolene started playing piano, beginning a life-long love for the instrument that would bring comfort and healing in the darkest of times, joy and peace in the happiest. After graduating from high school and technical school in Spartanburg, SC, Jolene continued her involvement in local churches playing the piano and organ, teaching children's music programs, and singing in the choir. She and her family live in Hobbs, and she is involved in the music program at First Baptist Church of Hobbs. She is looking forward to sharing her love of music and Jesus with the students at JCA! Jolene Bradey is the Music teacher at JCA!

Tamara Jones--

Hi! I'm Tamara Jones.  I'm going to be a teacher's aide at JCA and couldn't be more thrilled!  I will be working in every classroom assisting each teacher in their daily activities.  I have a bachelors in Elementary Education from Lubbock Christian University and certified to teacher Kindergarten through 8th grade.  I taught 3 years at St. Helena as a 1st grade teacher and 2 years at Broadmoor Elementary in Hobbs as a 2nd grade teacher.  I then stayed home with my precious daughter, Tavin, who is a 1st grader at JCA.  God has blessed me with a wonderful husband, Kevin, who I've had the privilege to be married to for 13 years.  We attend Taylor Street Church of Christ and understand our responsibility as parents to teach our daughter to put God 1st in her life.  JCA has been an answered prayer for our family!  I feel so blessed to be a part of something as wonderful as Junction Christian Academy.

Paula Puryear--

Hi, my name is Paula Puryear. I am joining the staff of JCA as a teacher's aide and librarian. I married my best friend 13 years ago and we have two wonderful kids. Brandon is 10 and Makayla is 7. Both are attending JCA. We moved here from Lubbock 5 years ago knowing that God had plans for us, but not sure what that plan was. The plan has unfolded beautifully! I have always worked with children in one aspect or another including teaching preschool for several years. I am excited to be able to combine my love of books and children in a Christian environment.
