Outreach

Our heart's desire is to not only reach Lea County for Jesus, but through outreach and changed hearts, to be able to reach the world!

Race Track Ministry

During the horse racing season at Zia Park in Hobbs, NM, Pastor Ty spends each Tuesday ministering at the race track. As one of the race track chaplains, Pastor Ty holds Bible Studies for race track and casino employees, as well as, praying with the jockies and grooms before each race.  Cowboy Juntion also provides meals on Thursdays nights before the church service for grooms, jockies, owners and their families. Not only are we able to feed people physically, but we are also able to play a part in feeding them spiritually.

Fall Fest

Fall Fest is held each October. We plant and grow pumpkins and invite everybody to come pick their very own free pumpkin!  The youth group entertains the crowd with skits and human videos, while there is horseback riding, pumpkin painting, games, smores around the campfire, a hay ride and many other exciting activities. Hot dogs, frito pie, hot chocolate, hot cider and lots of goodies are served!  It is a fun-packed family day that you don't want to miss!

Youth Night at the Rodeo

Youth Night at the Rodeo is held each year in August in conjunction with the Lovington Fair and Rodeo. Area youth pastors are invited to enter the Youth Pastor Steer Riding which kicks off the evening at the Jake McClure Arena along with a concert performed by a Christian band. These events are held one night right before the performance begins at the rodeo. Call Ty to get your free tickets, bring your youth group, 4H group, Boy or Girl Scout Group, or any youth organization and join us for an exciting time at the rodeo! Youth Night at the Rodeo is a part of the Forever Cowboys Ministry.

Camp Crossfire

Camp Crossfire is a Christ-centered youth camp where teenagers can learn about becoming champions in their walk with Christ. Students entering 7th through 12th grade may attend. Housed on the campus of New Mexico Jr. College, Camp Crossfire is an action-packed 4-day camp including church services, Bible studies, water games, goat roping and many other activities. Camp Crossfire provides an opportunity for campers to experience an unforgettable week and to grow in their knowledge of Christ.
