Cowboy Junction has a vision for excellence in leading people into praise and worship to our Heavenly Father! We have a desire for committed people to join our team which results in skillfully playing an instrument or singing before the Lord. We believe that God is almighty and deserves our praise and worship. The method used to worship God is not as important as the fact that we do worship Him. We are created for the pleasure of God and to fulfill His purpose. We want to give God our very best!
Usher Ministry
What a blessing to be greeted at the church doors by a friendly face. If you feel called to serve, this may be the ministry for you. Cowboy Junction shirts are provided for all ushers so the people know who you are. Ushers arrive early to get the coffee brewing, chairs straightened, and everything ready. On rainy days ushers meet families at their cars with an umbrella. During service the ushers assist Pastor Ty with handouts and visitor bags. The list goes on and on. This can sometimes be a thankless job, but it is one of the most important and appreciated ministries at Cowboy Junction Church.
Prayer
The mission of "the prayer ministry" of CJC is to love
and motivate others. Through prayer, we become encouraged, strengthened, and unified as we strive to be a "house of prayer" that glorifies God in our surrounding communities. Also included in the prayer ministry is the prayer chain, as well as, the Tuesday morning prayer for the church, staff, ministries, etc. at 6:30 a.m. Join us for prayer and a cup of coffee!
Food
We know that during certain life changing events, a homecooked meal brought to your door can be such a blessing. We have a need for volunteers that love to cook. We prepare meals for funerals, people going home after a hospital stay, and the birth of a new child. Food brings the church family together, and we always need more people to be a part of this great ministry.
